B.E Auto Detail ("we," "us," or "our") is a mobile car detailing service based in Michigan, operated by Blake Wesley and Evan Meinert. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website or book a service, how we use it, and who we share it with.
Booking form. When you submit a booking request, we collect:
Site visit data. Our server logs the page accessed and the date and time of that access. We do not log your IP address, browser type, or any device identifiers.
Internal admin records. After a booking is submitted, we may add internal notes and update the appointment status (pending, confirmed, completed, or cancelled). These are visible only to us.
We share your data only with the services listed below. We do not sell your data or share it with advertising networks, analytics platforms, or data brokers.
Square (Block, Inc.) — if you pay by credit or debit card, we create a Square payment link and redirect you to Square's checkout page. You enter your card details directly with Square; we never see or store your card number. Square's use of your data is governed by Square's Privacy Policy.
Resend — we send confirmation and reminder emails using Resend's email delivery service (resend.com). Your name, service type, appointment date, and service location pass through Resend's servers as part of email delivery. Resend's handling of this data is governed by Resend's Privacy Policy.
Apple Calendar — when a booking is entered into our system, we add the appointment details (your name, service type, phone number, car description, and any notes) to our Apple Calendar app on our Mac. This data stays on our local device and is not uploaded to Apple's servers through this process.
Google (Fonts) — our website loads fonts (Bebas Neue, DM Sans, Playfair Display) from Google's servers. When your browser loads our site, it makes a request to fonts.googleapis.com to download those fonts, which includes your IP address. Google's handling of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Render (Render Services, Inc.) — our website is hosted on Render. All web traffic passes through their infrastructure. Render's privacy practices are described in Render's Privacy Policy.
If you select Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal as your payment method, we show a link to that platform on the booking confirmation page. Clicking that link takes you to a third-party website governed by that platform's own terms and privacy policy. We do not share your booking information with those platforms through those links.
We do not set cookies on customer-facing pages. The only cookie we use is a session cookie for our admin portal, which is only set when an admin logs in.
Booking records are kept until we manually delete them — there is no automated deletion schedule. If you would like your data removed sooner, see the section below.
Our website is served over HTTPS. Access to the admin panel requires a password and is protected with login rate limiting. Your booking data is stored in JSON files on our server. We do not encrypt data at rest. We take reasonable precautions to protect your information, but no online service can guarantee perfect security.
To request a copy of your data, ask us to delete your booking record, or ask any privacy-related question, email us at b.e.detailinginfo@gmail.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version. If we make significant changes, we'll try to notify customers with active bookings by email.
